| N. x trusmadiensis |
| My male plant of N. x trusmadiensis is now approaching 3 metres high with five strong branches, and cardboard thick leaves that are
65cm long with petiole. when young it produced pitchers just like N. macrophylla and has only started to show the N. lowii parentage. I have had this plant for the past 12 years. Last season it flowered producing three spikes that were nearly a metre long, each with 450-500 flowers. Unfortunately the only female plant I had flowering was a N. maxima. I have just had success with getting seed to germinate from this cross should prove to be interesting. In this photo it is leaning on N. lamii. |
